Joy! New Birth!

How wonderful it is to experience new birth - spiritual and physical! Recently, my husband (the preacher) and I have had the enriching experience of two new births. The first, a spiritual one a couple weeks ago, when Bruce, a newcomer to our congregation, prayed the sinner's prayer and gave his heart and life to the Lord. Of course, this is what we long for as we minister to our beloved congregation in New Castle, new spiritual life and growth among our church family. It brings such happiness, hope, and a fresh realization that God is still on the throne and in the soul saving business!
This past Sunday, we also were privileged to share the joy and happiness of a young couple in our congregation who were welcoming their first baby. It was so exciting to watch their excitement, and that of the grandmother, Mary! It brought back so many memories of bringing our own two sons into the world, howbeit, 30 some years ago! Wow! Where have the years gone?
Little Landon is a beautiful baby boy and we wish him the best life can offer and the blessings only God can provide for him. And we pray for his parents as they influence his life for God and good. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them transferred from my camera, so that you can share the joy too!
